What you'll achieve The General Ledger Specialist operates in a Shared Service Center based in Milan, providing administrative services for some Group legal entities in EMEA.
Within the Shared Service Center, the General Ledger Specialist is primarily responsible for the General ledger accountants journal entries (JE), Customer invoice issuing, reconcile financial statements, accounts and revenues and ensure data accuracy.
Prepares analysis of accounts as requested.
Enters JE into accounting software and verifies accurate accounts and amounts are entered.
Ensure respect of service levels, performance metrics and policies / procedures (including internal controls).
You will: Prepare journal entries (i.e., cost provision, revenue accrual, depreciation, payroll, loan interest, Intercompany entries) Reconcile financial statements, accounts and revenues Reconcile vendor, customer and GL accounts Raise customer and intercompany invoices Enter JE into accounting software and verify accurate accounts and amounts are entered.

Here's what you'll need to succeed: Essential Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business 3-5 years of experience in General Ledger /Finance Solid understanding of accounting practice ERP knowledge, Microsoft D365 Knowledge is a plus Microsoft Office suite experience with proficiency in Excel Fast and accurate reporting skills Required language: Italian and English proficient Desirable Requirements Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and process large volume activity Willingness to assist team as needed to obtain department goals Strong customer service approach to managing daily inquiries Attention to detail and accuracy Able to work well in a fast-paced, friendly, team-oriented work environment We are Dedalus, come join us Dedalus is committed to providing an engaging, rewarding work experience that reflects the passion our employees bring to our mission of helping clinicians and nurses deliver better care to their served communities.
