What you'll achieveThe General Ledger Specialist operates in a Shared Service Center based in Milan, providing administrative services for some Group legal entities in EMEA.
Within the Shared Service Center, the General Ledger Specialist is primarily responsible for the General ledger accountants journal entries (JE), Customer invoice issuing, reconcile financial statements , accounts an revenues and ensure data accuracy.
Prepares analysis of accounts as requested. Enters JE into accounting software and verifies accurate accounts and amounts are entered.
Ensure respect of service levels, performance metrics and policies / procedures (including internal controls).
You will: Prepare journal entries (i.e , cost provision, revenue accrual, depreciation, payroll, loan interest, Intercompany entries)Reconcile financial statements, accounts and revenuesReconcile vendor, customer and GL accountsRaise customer and intercompany invoicesEnters JE into accounting software and verifies accurate accounts and amounts are entered.Perform the period end activitiesOther ad hoc activities in the area of general Ledger (e.g. reporting activities)Take the next step towards your dream careerAt Dedalus Life flows through our software.
