General Ledger - Internship

Keywords Studios Italy, a Keywords Group company, provides international media localization, translation, voice recording, localization testing, and international content creation services through its network of project managers, recording studios, and selected linguists around the world.
The GL Accounting Internship, reporting to the Accounting Supervisor Italy, will be included in the central multi-lingual accounting team operating from Milan that supports subsidiaries in different countries, mainly acting on foreign entities.
The candidate must be curious and innovative, willing to learn not only the Italian accounting but also IFRS and foreign statutory rules.
The GL Accounting Internship will be part of the GL team, working on several different projects, such as Fixed assets, travel expenses, SOX, system implementation, reconciliation, in addition to the accounting and fiscal activities for a few entities in Italy and abroad.
The candidate will learn about the accounting process, with a main focus on:
ACCOUNTINGMonth end process, such as accrual, deferral, payroll journals, and fixed assetsAssistance for Internal auditPreparation of statutory accounts and financial statementsTrial balance reviewVAT and related statutory reportsStatutory AuditAnnual statutory financials and related tasksTravel expensesTechnical SkillsDiploma in accounting and/or degree in economicsGood in English (B2/C1)MS Excel skills and in general good IT systems skills
