General Accountant (Fixed-Term) Lin

General Accountant with 3/5 years of experience. Job Purpose: Provide ongoing support to the regional Finance Team regarding regional finance and administration activities.

Main Responsibilities: Functional Treasury: Bank, credit card, and petty cash reconciliation. Prepare and monitor customer ageing reports; the resource will send statements to customers and oversee the credit collection process. Create, update, and maintain customers' and suppliers' registries in the Zucchetti system. Responsible for purchase orders of HQ and all Italy invoices, conducting a three-way match and booking the related invoices. Review suppliers' invoices booked by the GMs; monitor suppliers' ageing reports and arrange payment runs twice per month. Prepare autonomously periodic fiscal declarations such as VAT and Intrastat. Actively participate in budgeting and forecasting processes with specific support on fixed and variable overheads. Assist the Finance Manager in the month-end process and reporting based on experience. Assist General Managers with answers to accounting and fiscal queries. Assist the Regional Finance Manager in the preparation of necessary documents for the auditing company during quarterly and yearly audits. Assist the GMs and the Regional Finance Manager in the digitalization process of mandatory documentation. Any other activity in line with the candidate's experience that may arise from the ordinary and extraordinary activities of the company. Key Job Appraisal Criteria: At least 3 years' experience in accounting. Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar. Fluent in Italian and English; previous experience with Zucchetti Ad Hoc Enterprise will be considered a plus. Excellent knowledge of Office, particularly Excel. In-depth knowledge of Italian accounting principles (IFRS is a plus). Proactive, flexible, and self-motivated. Upholding Signature Aviation values and commitment to the company and the job.
