Partner with the best The Gas Turbine emissions engineer will provide technical support to the field team for gas turbine and auxiliaries nonconformities troubleshooting and resolution during installation and commissioning, and for remote combustion tuning activities on gas turbines, in order to keep the emissions under control.
As a Gas Turbine Emissions Tuning Engineer, you will be responsible for: Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams for NPD programs development related to optimization and digitization of combustion tuning activities, to meet the assigned programs deliverables within the project schedule.
Analyzing real machines data and contributing to the development of algorithms/analytics to deploy reliable models able to meet the new product features.
Developing models and algorithms/analytics within assigned projects taking care of the technical standpoint, using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
Preparing all relevant technical documentation related to the development phase always consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
Supporting pilot installations at customer sites and the first installations/applications of new products, tackling all technical issues that may arise.
Cooperating in initiatives and programs to explore new fuel applicability to support customers in carbon footprint reduction.
Leading remote tuning activities and related documentation to provide prompt support to customers and field pool for gas turbine combustion tuning activities and eventual troubleshooting.
Leading technical non-conformances to provide technical guidance to global service pool for troubleshooting, to support Field Service representatives in front of customers, and to share related status updates.
Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a degree in Engineering and relevant experience in Engineering/Technology.
Have significant working experience in a similar area of competency (Mechanical Component).
Have solid experience using Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Have a good background in CAD Software such as NX.
Demonstrate a team player attitude and inclusiveness.
Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Demonstrate experience in leading, mentoring, and motivating teams in a technical environment.
Have problem-solving skills.
Be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal English.
