We are over 300 people with the tension to always do better!#StartEveryday Job Position:If you choose to share your energy with us, you will join the Gas Trading Desk in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, optimise and execute gas trading strategies in key EU countries from day one.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience of natural gas markets and a thorough understanding of gas fundamentals, logistics and the wider energy market complex.We are looking for a new team member who is ambitious, structured, focused and a motivated team player.
To do list (what you will do): Develop and implement profitable trading strategiesWork with the algorithmic and systematic trading teamExecute trades day ahead and along the curveIdentify and research ways to improve existing trading strategiesMaximise PL with compliance frameworkManage VaR limit assigned by Head of TradingSuggest data analysis to internal analyst team to generate profitable trading strategies Required experience (also known as hard skills): At least 2 or 4 years' experience in EU Markets gas trading or cross-commodity tradingProven track record in gas tradingStrong business acumen combined with entrepreneurial flairStrong personal interest in financial markets, trading and optionsMaster's Degree in Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Economics and Finance (or scientific disciplines)Good knowledge of the English languageNice to have: IT skills like Python, C#, R, VBA Soft Skills (our favourites!
