STMicroelectronics is on an exciting journey of technology development that requires infrastructure expansion and investment in leading edge technologies. To achieve this goal, we are seeking candidates to support STMicroelectronics facility design and construction organization to build the next generation of semiconductor manufacturing factories.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Design and Plan Systems and Buildings
· Support facilities system designs for safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
· Review, and maintain ST engineering Standards and Specifications.
· Participate in design compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
· Participate in capacity and scenario planning, including evaluation of system and distribution capacity impacts based on manufacturing changes and expansions.
· Review and advise on periodic system status presentations (system capacity, actual load, and projected loads based on approved scenarios and challenges/issues).
· Review the scope, schedule, and cost for Facilities infrastructure projects
Provide Project Support
· Interface with design firms to oversee the utilization of ST Standards to support the Engineering design for the construction and installation of facilities infrastructure.
· Provide supervision and coordination of consultant resources.
· Actively participate in design development and Project Design Reviews.
· Provide construction support for adherence to construction documents, validating compliance and quality assurance.
· Support the documentation of facilities system procedures for Commissioning.
· Support the management of design package schedule to project needs.
· Ensure change management procedures are followed.
Provide Technical Support, and Expertise
· Analyze system designs to identify improvements that will result in better
performance, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savings.
· Provide Technical support to Procurement group on vendor qualifications, vendor selection and negotiations as needed.
· Conduct risk and failure mode and effects analysis.
· Maintain System Standards, Specifications for specific discipline.
ProfileBachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering required.
· Entry level, 0-3yrs of experience in Bulk and Specialty Gases Systems Design
Maintenance and Operations, Semiconductor, and/or Facilities related Industry.
· Good organizational skills and Service attitude.
· Excellent communication skills and good team working skills, English required.
· Desired: English level of professional proficiency.
