ADI's Digital Healthcare BU is seeking a Digital Design Engineer to join our team developing state of the art Low Iq solutions for Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) to be used in next generation Vital Signs monitoring ASIC developments.
The resource, as part of a cross functional team including Analog, FW, Verification, Product, Test, and Application Engineers, will use recommended circuit design and verification methodologies to meet functional, low power, and timing specifications.
The position is based on the Catania Design Centre.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordinate with the Verification Team to ensure effective block and chip level verification in UVM based environmentPerform Low Power Logical Synthesis, Static Timing Analysis, Power AnalysisCoordinate with the Physical Implementation Team to optimize Clock tree synthesis and floorplan optimizationATPGUse version control recommended tools for source code and documentsUse up-to-date design and verification techniques to ensure first silicon successBSEE/MSEE Degree in ElectronicsProven analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to work on multiple complex projects.Strong inter-personal, teamwork and communication skills.Strong coding and documentation practices.Verilog (preferred) or VHDL fluency in design, simulation, and verification domains.Ability to own and drive either design or verification assignments to completion with little supervision.Motivated to learn and master the full digital design process.Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of custom digital interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, AHB etc.), SRAM, ROM.Low Power Digital Design (custom state machines and control logic for use with analog circuits).RTL design for synchronous applications, including multiple clock domains.Power Oriented Logic synthesis, Static Timing Analysis, RTL Linting, Logic Equivalence Check, Formal Verification.Design for Test (DFT), Scan insertion, Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG).IC bench evaluation by using Oscilloscopes, Multimeter, Power Source, Function Generator.ADI is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
