We are seeking an Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer within Digital Healthcare. Job responsibilities include IC design starting from initial specification through design, layout supervision and silicon evaluation.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, willing to learn exciting new technologies and be able to work effectively within a talented group of individuals.
Specific areas of technical expertise include one or more of the following areas: Low Power ADC/DAC design particularly ?? converters. Mixed Signal Design Techniques AFE design: optical (heart-rate & blood oxygen), biopotential (ECG, EMG, EEG), electrochemical and temperature applications Responsibilities will include: IC design starting from initial specification through design, verification, documentation and layout supervision Generation of behavioral models for system level simulation and verification Silicon evaluation and characterization to product introduction Assisting test engineering with design for test and manufacturability Requirements Master's degree or PhD in E E (Ph.D. Preferred) with focus in analog/mixed-signal IC design 3+ years of relevant industry experience Thorough familiarity with data converter design techniques. (Recent completion of successful projects in this area is a significant plus) Understanding and utilization of digital signal processing Strong intuitive and analytical understanding of transistor-level design Experience designing in deep sub-micron CMOS Familiar with the following tools: Cadence (Spectre, AMS, Virtuoso), Matlab, Common laboratory equipment Strong technical and communication skills
