The Sustainable Buildings and Infrastructure Group (SBI) is a vibrant and international team in the wider Industrial Automation Group, responsible for developing and delivering full end-to-end system solutions for a variety of industrial automation & connectivity applications, where innovative combinations of hardware and software technology are enabling our customers in end markets such as Connected Buildings, Logistics Automation and Smart Retail.
Currently seeking an energetic and motivated Systems Engineering intern to join us at ADI Milan (Italy). The role is with a fast-paced and dynamic team where a culture of innovation is nurtured. The variety and scope of projects provides an interesting and challenging opportunity for an impactful individual that will experience interactions with a variety of teams including design, marketing, and technology groups.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with various technical teams across the ADI organization to build knowledge on core ADI technologies and systems applicable to SBI's End Markets (HW/SW).Development of hardware and software system solutions for Intelligent Buildings, Smart Retail and Logistics End Markets.Integration of various Sensors/Actuators/Software Stack/Cloud Connectivity and delivery of:Evaluation boards design and/or validationSupport documentation / Application notesEvaluation and application of Technology Demonstrators that feature several cutting-edge technologies.Qualifications Currently enrolled in BS/MSc program in Electronics Engineering, or similar field.Experience with PCB design that includes sensors, microcontrollers, and connectivity.Experience with embedded serial communications (SPI, I2C, UART) and wireless protocols (BLE, WiFi).Integration of various sensors, processors, and actuators into wider systems.Hardware debugging skills including the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English), organization, and technical skills with the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary international team.#LI-CO1
