Your Mission
After the 16 months rotation, which will include a few months in Parma (Italy), you will be part of the engineering team based in Octeville (France). This team is in charge of the development, integration, and improvement of mechanical and mechatronic subassemblies on the blowmolder.
Your role will be to design complex functional sub-assemblies that integrate automation and/or automatic control and/or electronics and/or mechanics and/or IT within a functional group.
More specifically, based on the needs expressed by the module leader or the project manager, you will:
Choose mechatronic concepts requiring the application of knowledge in several technical fields, including mechanics, electronics, computing, automation, image processing, etc. Design and size complex functional sub-assemblies. Reach joint decisions on technical choices with the automation and electrical departments to ensure that solutions are properly integrated. Create, check, and archive all technical data relating to functional sub-assemblies. Optimize the design based on feedback from end users. Analyze operating anomalies and design failure modes. Participate in structured design analyses. Your Profile
The position requires the following competences and background:
Master/engineering school in all systems using electricity. Less than 2 years from your master/engineering degree. In-depth knowledge in a number of fields, including mechanics, electronics, IT, automation, image processing, control, etc. Knowledge of the electrical and machine standards applicable to the technology in force in each country. Proficiency in modeling and automation software. Fluent professional English. General knowledge of several functional modules.
