This individual will oversee technical activities aimed at ensuring Micron's NVM products meet international Functional Safety standards, such as ISO 26262, and will be directly involved in the creation of various work products for flagship projects.We are searching for, but not limited to, Vimercate area (Arzano -NA or Avezzano-AQ are also suitable location)Responsibilities and Tasks will include, but are not limited to the following: Cover the Functional Safety Manager role for NVM products, coordinating technical teams and supervise related activitiesCollaborate with Development teams for the definition of the safety architecture and collaterals ( SEooC, TSC)Participate to formal reviews of the technical content of multiple safety artifactsContribute to define, adjust and maintain processes and templates for safety standard compliancePipe-clean activity on specific artifacts, driving the technical preparation on leading projectsContribute to the introduction of new Functional Safety related standards by tailoring them for Micron context ( 3rd edition of ISO 26262, IEC 61508, …)Contribute to create training material and development of educational programs at Company levelEvaluate how AI can help in documentation management and customer support collaterals deliveringCollaborate with Product Line Manager to provide requirements for the Product Roadmap definitionParticipate as a subject matter expert in external and internal audits and assessments for FuSa collateral for both development process and design ID specific contentPreferred Experience: Semiconductor experience (Design/PE/Qual)Nonvolatile memory knowledgeSystem-level knowledge is a plus (auto/industrial)Experience with requirements management and traceability tools ( Jama, Doors, Polarion…)Knowledge of Functional safety ISO 26262 is a preferred requirement, and/or IEC 61508 is nice to have with basic knowledgeProgram Management basic and tools knowledgeConfiguration Management basicsPassion for Functional Safety valuesAttention to details (rigorous and precise)Very effective in communication and presentation/documentationMS Office applications (including scripting/formulas) Education: MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent in a technical field; job title is scalable depending on candidate's background3+ Years of relevant work experience Qualifications Ability to build solid relationships with development teams and cross-functional organizations within Micron Ability to influence and negotiate, working always with a collaboration spiritEmbracing Micron core valuesAbility to drive the team overcoming difficult situationsAbility to promote innovative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead change Ability for independent decision making and to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations Willing to collaborate and conduct occasional off-hour meetings with international team membersOthersWilling and able to travel to various international Micron locationsFluent in EnglishSite: Vimercate (preferred), Arzano -NA or Avezzano-AQ are also suitable location
