Functional Safety Engineer

The Functional Safety & Cyber Security area is looking for a talented "Functional Safety Engineer" to join our team.
If you possess an understanding of ISO26262 and have experience in Functional Safety engineering, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities: Oversee the management of Functional Safety activities, ensuring compliance with the ISO26262 standard.
This involves carrying out the development and implementation of Functional Safety processes, policies, and procedures throughout the product lifecycle.
Establish and maintain supporting processes as outlined in the ISO26262 standard.
This includes but is not limited to requirements management, documentation management, and verification and validation processes.
Coordinate Functional Safety activities to meet project milestones.
Work closely with stakeholders to integrate safety measures into product designs effectively, verifying compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Support teams on safety-related issues, whilst also supporting reviews to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Functional Safety processes and practices.
Key Requirements: Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study.
Experience in Functional Safety engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
Understanding of ISO26262.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in English will also be positively evaluated.
