Job Description We are currently looking for a Functional Consultant to support a large MOM Tyre program in Italy. In this role, you will lead key MES project activities such as functional specifications, specifications design, system demonstrations, application functional validation, and application deployment. All of this in constant interaction with customers, making sure training and support is provided when required.
This role will be based in Italy (Milan office) and will report into the Team Leader MES Italy.
Your Responsibilities: Help and support the implementation of our solutions in cooperation with the Project Manager all over the project life cycle from the presales phase until the commissioning. Define the best solutions to design and deploy our MES solutions in providing guidance to the customers and defining strategies with the project teams. Understand and challenge the customer's needs, analyze the gaps and propose solutions. Maintain good cooperation and relationship with all project team members, customer, and sales. Stay up-to-date, quickly learn and explain the features and benefits of new products and solutions. Document all business processes, needs, flows, and diagrams (swim lane, UI Design, etc.). Prepare and perform demonstration of our standard MES and Analytics software. Prepare and implement customer specific MES and Analytics solution demonstrations. Provide on-site installation, commissioning, start-up services, and application training for our MES solutions. Identify tasks and interrelationships to evaluate functional and cross-functional requirements. Be a coach to engineering and other specialists on our MES solutions. The Essentials - You Will Have: BS in Engineering or Science, or equivalent technical experience. Typically minimum of 3 years of experience in systems, MES software, IloT solutions or application engineering capacity. Expertise in Tyre industry is a must. English (professional), Italian (nice to have), Turkish (nice to have). Ability to travel 25% to 50% on average. The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Knowledge of automation layer interface with machines and MES.
