Responsibilities:
Operate secondary and CNC machines to produce high quality parts within specified tolerances. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production. Measure and quality check finished parts using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and Micro-view measurement systems. Write, modify, and optimize CNC programs using G & M code programming to meet production goals (training provided). Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50lbs as required. Utilize basic trigonometry and strong math skills for precision machining operations. Demonstrate intermediate knowledge and proficiency in using various tools and equipment. Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges effectively. Installing and performing diagnostic tests on Electronic Modules using vehicle simulation equipment and diagnostic tools following testing criteria (procedures, parameters and error codes). Supporting electronic power-steering teardowns and BOM creation, document mechanical and electronic components, sensors, and electronic modules for future BOMs. Work closely with Application and Process Engineer to ensure that the current product procedures are up to date. Reads and comprehends Work Instructions and Single point lessons, as well as completes required documentation as required. Dexterity and coordination operating various hand tools including solder station, hammers, pneumatic tools, etc. Repairs, installs, and inspects electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining, electronics technology, or related field preferred. Previous experience operating CNC Machines or similar role in a manufacturing environment preferred. Previous experience with different SMD components and techniques for soldering them. Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment. Understanding of basic trigonometry and strong math skills preferred. Demonstrated ability to use various hand tools and equipment with precision. Experience in reading and writing G code for CNC programming preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
