Duties And Responsibilities Studying FPGA requirements to understand verification requirementsWorking with the FPGA design team to establish test priorities and coverage targetsDefining test proceduresEstablishing verification methodology, architecture, and infrastructure including models, generators, monitors, etcDeveloping the established test benches using VHDLDeveloping FPGA function for HW test purposeExecuting test procedures by simulations and on target testsGenerating reports and verification matrices to ensure coverage of requirementsReporting code coverage analysisReporting RTL bugs and supporting designers to resolve themCreating and maintaining regressions, providing reports to the teamSupporting project planning efforts and ensuring execution to scheduleGenerating and reviewing HW related engineering documentationManaging documentation and VHDL code in adherence to Configuration Management and Change Control proceduresConducting or participating in design reviews and supporting customer auditsManaging assigned tasks simultaneously and effectively communicating with the team members, the group head and, if necessary, with all levels of the organizationQualification And Skills Required Master's degree in an electronic engineering discipline or similarMinimum of 3 years of hands-on experience coding, simulating, and verifying VHDL code for FPGAExperience with EDA tools such as HDL simulators and FPGA design toolsExperience with FPGA testbenches developmentExperience with laboratory instruments (power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc)Organized and systematic to maintain documentation in appropriate orderStrong interpersonal and communications skillsKnowledge of English Language, both in writing/reading technical documentation and in speaking/listening during project meeting and design reviewsPreferred Experience with Mentor Questasim and Xilinx VivadoExperience with UVM/VMM/OVM Frameworks or System VerilogExperience with IBM DOORS and Mentor ReqtracerExperience of version control, e.g., SVN, GITExperience with the FPGA design flow (synthesis, place & route, timing closure)Experience with DO-254 standardIntegration experience using SoC (System on Chip) devices especially Xilinx product familyBenefits And Perks
