The company is in strong development in Italy and abroad and Planet Farmers today work at the production plant - the brand new and upcoming Cirimido Plant (Como, Italy) at the R&D Center on the outskirts of Milan, as well as at offices in Italy (Milan), Portugal (Coimbra), the United Kingdom (London) and the Netherlands (Eindhoven).
We are looking for a Food Production Specialist that will be responsible for managing and supervising production operations, ensuring productivity, efficiency and compliance with quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food production processes and a methodical approach. The candidate will be under direct supervision of the Head of Plant.
Activities: Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities of the production departmentEnsure that production processes comply with quality and food safety standardsManage production personnel, including trainingOptimize operational efficiency through the implementation of continuous improvement practices in collaboration with the specific functionCollaborate with agronomy, quality, logistics, and commercial departments to ensure adherence to timelines and business targetsMonitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actionsMaintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure the quality of services providedKnowledge: At least 1/3 years of experience in a similar role within a food company, preferably in the fresh products sectorIn-depth knowledge of HACCP regulationsSkills: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skillsStrong results orientation and ability to work under pressureLeadership and team management capabilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsLanguage skills: Good knowledge of English
