DescriptionThe Bartender is responsible for providing alcoholic beverage and food service to all guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner displaying a high standard of guest service.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvides prompt, efficient and courteous service to guests at the bar, obtaining and accurately entering food and drink orders into a POS system.Monitors guests needs on a continual basis, ensuring quality and accuracy of orders being served.Stays knowledgeable on all menu items, with emphasis on mix drinks, offering suggestions and support to guests as needed.Maintains the cleanliness and organizations of bar areas and service stations.Assists in the upkeep, supplies and rotation of the liquor room.Safeguards TRCR assets and balances assigned banks accurately.Reports to management all guest concerns, complaints, or suggestions in a continuous effort to provide superior guest service.Completes all required side duties as assigned, ensuring stations are stocked for following shift.Provides exceptional guest service by having an exceptional attitude when dealing with guests and fellow Team Members.Complies with all gaming regulations regarding alcohol sales.Closely follows the FB department health and personal hygiene policy.Other duties as directed by management.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed.SERVICE COMMITMENTS - Exceptional Guest Service is key to the success of Three Rivers Casino Resort and each of our Team Members.

Your commitment will help us meet our Purpose.EVERY DAY, WE DELIVER UNCOMMONLY KIND EXPERIENCES THAT CONNECT PEOPLE TO THE COAST.RequirementsEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITYMinimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old.Must have 6 months experience in a fast-paced bartending environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card/OLCC License within 30 days of employment.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.
