We are looking for a Commis de Rang for the next season 2025 to join our restaurant team.
The ideal candidate is open to new challenges and ready to constantly develop themselves further. They are willing to support the team to provide authentic and luxury dining experiences, demonstrating care, curiosity, and community.
He/She reports to Chef de Rang.
Responsibilities Fulfil the operations according to the Company policies, high standards, and procedures. Take care of the mise en place. Support the Chef de Rang with service. Clean and set up floors, tables, chairs, linens, glass, and silver for service. Monitor all aspects of the customers' experience, from the restaurant layout before they arrive to the experience they receive during the service. Act to enhance a flawless service and anticipate guests' needs. Requirements Effective communication: communicate clearly and in an appropriate manner (both verbally and non-verbally). Emotional intelligence: demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and emotions of guests and colleagues and adjust their style accordingly. Manage own emotions in challenging situations. Adaptability: identify when a different approach is needed and offer solutions. Try and adopt new ways of doing things. Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player. Share information and skills and actively seek and provide feedback. Other Requirements Fluent in Italian and basic level of English. Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred. Previous professional experience in a similar role, including school internships. Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally. References. HACCP Certification. Good knowledge of wines (AIS certification is a plus). We offer a seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 6s, Commis de Rang, starting from July 2024 to October 2024, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path.
