Location: The position is located at Aman Venice, Italy.
Overview: The Floor Supervisor will assist the first and second Housekeeping Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the Housekeeping department, ensuring that all the policies and procedures outlined in the Departmental Operations Manual are strictly adhered to.
Responsibilities: Ensures Housekeeping Attendants deliver the brand promises and provide exceptional guest service at all times. Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily. Conducts quality checks on works done by Housekeeping Room Attendants. Ensures clean and complete arrival and occupied rooms in a timely manner. Reports and follows-up on repair and maintenance work. Conducts checks on Public Areas, F&B outlets, offices and toilets. Ensures scheduled periodic works are carried out. Ensures the punctuality and appearance of all Housekeeping Room Attendants, making sure that they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and department's grooming standards. When managers are not present, participate in morning meetings of the Hotel and, consequently, report to superiors the issues covered. Qualifications: Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role. Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Good communication skills, both written and verbal English.
