We are seeking a motivated Flight Software Engineer. Reporting to the VP Software, the Flight Software Engineer will join a collaborative team to develop innovative nano-satellite vehicle solutions for multiple projects.
Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain simple, reliable, and fault-tolerant softwareWrite comprehensive unit and regression tests in existing frameworksIntegrate and test software in simulation, flight replica, flight, and hardware-in-the-loop environmentsWork with multiple engineering teams to establish software requirements and designWork with various engineering teams to commission newly launched satellitesMinimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in CE, CS, CPE, EE or equivalent field required. Master's Degree is preferred.Maximum 5 years of experience developing C++ applications for embedded, high-performance, or critical systemsHighly motivated, self-starting, and able to perform duties autonomously without supervision.Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Italian and in EnglishAbility to collaborate effectively with other members of the team towards a common goalPositive and proactive person and able to manage stress and deadlinesProblem solver, able to analyze situations and find practical solutionsDesired SkillsHands-on experience using A.R.M. and Texas Instruments platforms for embedded systemsExperience with Linux and GNU tools such as make, G.C.C., and debuggers such as G.D.B.Experience with scripting languages such as bash and PythonExperience within the aerospace industrySalary and benefits are EU market competitive and include Welfare, Benefits, Private Insurance, Flexible working Hours.
