POSITION SUMMARY The Helicopter Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs including airframe structures, engines and aircraft systems. The Helicopter Maintenance Technician will make repairs and conduct tests to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely. This position will be based in Linate Airport, Milan.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Principally working on Sikorsky S76 C++ Helicopters with opportunities to assist with the company's fixed wing fleet as required.Perform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and regulatory requirements.Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install replacement parts and test aircraft systems.Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments.Complete all required maintenance records in an accurate manner to include accurately reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assigned.Support all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA and EPA regulations.Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.Present a clean and neat work area.Demonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to internal/external customers.Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE B1.3 license for rotary aircraft required (S76 Type Training will be provided).EASA License.Proven experience directly related aviation experience (corporate aircraft experience preferred).Good working knowledge of EASA: Part 145, Part M, Part CAMO, Part 21.REQUIRED SKILLS Must possess the legal ability to work in Europe and have the ability to travel to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves.Successful candidate will be highly motivated and work effectively under pressure and time constraints.Must have the ability to multi-task within a team environment.Strong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs.Possess proven inspection competencies.Must be detail-oriented and well organized; demonstrate excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude.Successful candidate will ideally have their own set of hand tools. Specialized aircraft tooling will be furnished by the company.Must maintain a valid driver's license.WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
