We are currently seeking a full-time Fleet and Maintenance Supervisor to add to our team of professionals.
This position will be based out of our Monticello, MS shop location.
Please note that the Fleet and Maintenance Supervisor position is a role requiring considerable time, effort, professionalism, independence, ingenuity, collaboration, and efficiency.
The individual filling this role must be willing and able to fulfill the entire suite of duties, goals, and responsibilities of this position with little to no guidance, direction, and/or supervision.
Primary Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the company's Monticello based fleet of equipment and vehicles under direction of the Fleet Director.
Manage all Monticello based mechanics and technicians.
Ensure efficient operation of the Company's Monticello maintenance facility.
Must be highly competent using software and technology to manage data and identify/resolve issues.
Continuously analyze and adjust the company's Monticello based fleet to meet operational needs.
Ensure the Monticello fleet operates in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Create, monitor, manage and execute all company repairs and maintenance budgets as assigned.
Create, monitor, manage and execute assigned fleet related policies, procedures and programs.
Manage and evaluate fleet related vendor, supplier, equipment, and maintenance accounts as assigned.
Document all fleet and maintenance related activities within the company's asset management systems (Maintenance Pro and Samsara) and utilize data to monitor and improve Monticello fleet efficiency.
Complete, obtain and manage fleet related regulatory reports, permits, licensing, registrations, insurance audits, IFTA submissions and any other tasks as assigned.
Arrange, permit, manage and monitor the interstate transportation of company equipment between projects.
Additional Responsibilities: Create, complete and submit measurables and/or reports as required.
Fulfill tasks as assigned by the Company's Fleet Director.
Assist the company with non-fleet related tasks on occasion.
Minimum Requirements: 2 years' experience supervising a fleet and maintenance program involving commercial trucks and heavy equipment.
2 years' experience supervising commercial trucking and heavy equipment maintenance facilities.
Extensive knowledge of DOT rules and regulations governing commercial hauling.
High competency with computer programs/software including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to write and communicate technically.
Work Environment: The employee filling this position will be expected to work the days/hours required to fulfill the full suite of duties and responsibilities assigned to the position.
Job functions will be carried out in a vast array of environments including but not limited to maintenance facilities, job sites, customer facilities, vehicles, agricultural sites, landfills, and end user facilities.
Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, bend, and kneel.
May be required to push, pull, move or lift up to 100 lbs.
Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
