Job DescriptionGlobal Corporate Commercial Italy is the unit of Generali Italia S.p.A. that develops insurance services for medium and large companies.Based in Milan, and reporting to the Head of Financial Lines Industrial Commercial - GCCI, you will deal with underwriting across the Financial Lines product in Italy.You will support the global strategy to ensure the successful achievement of targets.Main tasks:Perform underwriting and portfolio management activities to meet top and bottom line targets in line with the Financial Lines governance framework (Underwriting Authorities, Guidelines, Rules and Principles)Underwrite Corporate Financial Lines risks, in respect of all products, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the insurance and reinsurance marketSupport product development activitiesRequirementsThe ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: Degree in Economics or LawAt least three years previous experience in the financial lines market as an underwriter or broker, preferably with specific expertise in professional liability insuranceAttitude to work in a team, ability in commercial negotiation and good communication skillsAbility to work in an international contextFluent knowledge of Italian and English (spoken and written); knowledge of at least a second foreign language is preferredGood command of main IT packages (Office/internet)Company ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
