Main responsibilities and activitiesIn the Finance and Accounting Department, we are looking for a brilliant profile reporting to the Accounting Lead with the following responsibilities and activities:
Complete and maintain Fixed Asset register managing the transactions connected with CAPEX Projects such as Purchases, Additions, Impairment, and Disposals for all the 4 manufacturing sites in line with Company Policy and Procedures.Prepare monthly depreciation for US GAAP and Local GAAP rules.Support the capitalizations process of the CAPEX projects interacting with the Shared Service (GBS).Perform monthly reconciliation of Fixed Asset and GL on the US and Non-US set of books.Provide information to Internal and External Auditors in relation to Fixed Asset queries.Support the process connected with the physical count of the Fixed Assets.Perform Fixed Asset Register checks and reconciliations.Manage AP flow through SDI system interacting with the Shared Service Centre (GBS) for booking.Month-end and year-end closing AP accruals.Manage tax obligations related to AP (Esterometro, Intrastat, Dichiarazioni di Intento) with special focus on monitoring yearly plafond utilization.Manage the process connected with AP digital archive according to Italian rules.Assist in preparing audit work for year-end with external auditors.Manage Vendor master data in compliance with company policies and procedures.Support the Team with reports and analysis.RequirementsDiploma and/or three-year degree in economics.7/10+ years of experience in Asset management processes, Account Payable cycle and Italian and US GAAP accounting principles.Excellent knowledge of VAT and customs rules in an international context (import-export).Proactive and problem-solving oriented.Open to changes.Ability to communicate and collaborate across the organization with internal and external stakeholders.Advanced skills in MS Office and ERP system.Excellent English and Italian knowledge written and spoken.Coming from the industrial sector with business in international contexts is considered a Plus.What we offer?We try to take care of our employees, offering them small and large benefits.
