What you will do: EDP Professional Internship is a full-time internship for young university students or recent graduates from diverse profiles and backgrounds.

Position: Accounting and Tax trainee
Reporting to: Accountant Manager
MISSION: Ensure all the accounting and fiscal documentation is complete and archived, ensure the preparation of relevant accounting reports and fiscal documents in accordance with the Department´s guidelines to contribute to the optimization of all accounting activities.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING: Prepare the bookkeeping (enter collections, payments, expenses, scheduling, invoices sent and received, control of assets, etc.) for all the Business Unit companies, archive and update the necessary financial documentation, reconcile bank accounts and suppliers, provide information to prepare the documents necessary for monthly reporting, as well as complete the official books for the Register of Companies, receive and check the payment and collection invoices for all the Group companies, follow the returns on investments and the orders, to guarantee that the financial statements give a true and fair view of the Company.TAX: Support in the management of all the Company's activities and tax obligations, including, by way of example, the activities of carrying out and/or verifying periodic communications, tax and VAT returns, determining payments.Support in the activities of monitoring the schedule and the tax archive.Support in monitoring current legislation on taxation, for the purposes of correct and efficient application.Ensure the respect of the tax deadlines and support for the group tax compliance reporting.Support the external tax advisor in the preparation of the tax declaration e.g. providing reconciliation, supporting documentation, check of the information included in the declaration.ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH GAAP PRINCIPLES.ASSIST WITH SPECIAL PROGRAMS RELATED TO ACCOUNTANCY AND TAX.REQUIREMENTS: University Degree in Accountancy ongoing.
Ability to work with Power BI.
Languages: Italian and fluent English. Spanish is a plus.
