Job Overview Jensen Hughes has a newly created position for a Junior profile, graduated in any engineering faculty to be placed in Milan, Italy. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong analytical and creative thinking skills to manage hospitality project workload across Europe and Africa, and will report to Jensen Hughes Milan Hospitality manager. This is a client facing role and therefore a solid technical understanding along with excellent communication and organisational skills are a must. In this role, you will be initially trained in Code Consulting, Performance Based Design, and/or Fire Protection System Design.
Responsibilities Manage projects and coordinate technical workload of hospitality projects implementing a variety of Fire & Life Safety consulting projects across Europe and Africa.Willing to travel extensively (over 50%) mainly across Europe but potentially also Africa to support hospitality meetings, workshops, and inspections.Attend client project & design meetings managing project expectations completing assigned tasks on schedule and within budget as the sole representative of Jensen Hughes in Europe and Africa.Prepare and present technical reports and presentations according to the well established procedure you will be introduced to.Work in team, in a well-structured organisation and progressively carry out design reviews with increased autonomy.Participate in various levels of business development, including meetings and presentations with clients and developing proposals.Requirements and Qualifications Technical Degree in any Engineering specialtyPast experience in code consulting, design of fire suppression & alarm systems, and developing performance-based strategies in a project design environment, although not mandatory, is a plusChartered Engineer or PE highly desirableExcellent report writing and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills including speaking and writing in English. Ability to present clear and technically sound fire protection engineering strategies, speak in public, negotiate, explain fire protection concepts, and enforce standards while strengthening relationships, occasionally under pressureShould be able to work independently and as part of a team, enjoying professional challenges wanting to be an integral part of the long-term growth of Jensen Hughes.Jensen Hughes is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
