Our Corporate division are now seeking a talented Financial Reporting & Consolidation Specialist to join the Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation team on a Fixed Term Maternity Cover Contract.
Location: Our office in Zola Predosa (hybrid working)
Department Size: 5-6 (Approx.)
Reporting into: Head of Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation
Here is a breakdown of what you'll be doing:
- Implementation and preparation of the Consolidation Process for 12 legal entities across Italy, UK, US and APAC regions;
- Data collection of actual results for month-end activities (monthly reporting);
- Maintain regular scheduled processes and reports (intercompany reconciliations, assets and liabilities, other financial data);
- Develop various ad-hoc data queries and deliver results in a concise manner to internal and HQ management;
- Propose and implement improvements and automation for existing reporting processes;
- Ensure all procedural documentation relevant to the reporting environment is maintained up-to-date;
- Actively work on assigned projects and various business initiatives as well as ad-hoc demand;
- Implementation and formalization of processes and procedures within the area of responsibility;
- Monitoring the main cross-area activities (Accounting, Controlling Team and IT, etc..) and their implementation according the deadlines requested, throughout continuous updates and specular mapping (ex-ante and ex-post), reported to each owner of the flows;
- Any other business according to the role.
The type of person we are looking for:
- Ideally 1-2 + years' experience, preferably, in an auditing or accounting consulting company.
- Reliability, accuracy, flexibility, and discretion.
- Motivation in an administrative role.
- Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines and show flexibility.
- Knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS) and IFRS.
- Interpersonal skills, flexibility, a problem-solving and proactive approach.
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work with colleagues from foreign countries.
- Proficiency Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of Navision and SAP FI/CO will be considered a plus.
