APPLICATION CLOSING DATE: July 21st, 2024 Fondazione Human Technopole (HT) is an interdisciplinary research institute, created and supported by the Italian government, whose aim is to develop innovative strategies to promote human health and aging through a multidisciplinary and integrated approach, combining genomics, computational and structural biology and neuroscience, as well as data and decisions sciences.
The Human Technopole Foundation is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Officer. Under the supervision of the FP&A Manager, the successful candidate will support the budgetary, cost accounting, control and reporting activities with regards to the newly created National Facilities.
Your main tasks and responsibilities: Actively participate in the process of budgeting and forecasting; Support the cost accounting activities and internal invoice process; Analyse deviations from the budget and propose corrective actions; Collaborate in updating the accounting-management model of the Foundation so that it correctly responds to the needs deriving from new rules, directives or changes in the organizational model dictated by governance; Participate in the annual financial statements closing process. Mandatory requirements: Bachelor degree in Economics or Management Engineering or equivalent experience; Minimum 1 year of experience in the role; MS Office suite; Good command of English. Preferred requirements: Working knowledge of planning and control processes; Working knowledge of management reporting processes; Working knowledge of accounting processes and principles; SAP, in particular of the FI, CO and FM modules; Use of Reporting and Business Intelligence tools; Working experience in non-profit institutions, research institutes or medium-large companies. Organizational and social skills: Proactivity in the management of daily activities and in the management of any critical issues; Problem-solving orientation; Analysis and synthesis skills; Stakeholder orientation.
