Fondazione Human Technopole (HT) is an interdisciplinary research institute, created and supported by the Italian government, whose aim is to develop innovative strategies to promote human health and aging through a multidisciplinary and integrated approach, combining genomics, computational and structural biology and neuroscience, as well as data and decisions sciences.
The Human Technopole Foundation is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Officer.
Under the supervision of the FP&A Manager, the successful candidate will support the budgetary, cost accounting, control and reporting activities with regards to the newly created National Facilities.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Actively participate in the process of budgeting and forecasting;
Support the cost accounting activities and internal invoice process;
Analyse deviations from the budget and propose corrective actions;
Collaborate in updating the accounting-management model of the Foundation so that it correctly responds to the needs deriving from new rules, directives or changes in the organizational model dictated by governance;
Participate in the annual financial statements closing process.
Mandatory requirements:
Bachelor degree in Economics or Management Engineering or equivalent experience;
Minimum 1 year of experience in the role;
MS Office suite;
Good command of English.
Preferred requirements:
Working knowledge of planning and control processes;
Working knowledge of management reporting processes;
Working knowledge of accounting processes and principles;
SAP, in particular of the FI, CO and FM modules;
Use of Reporting and Business Intelligence tools;
Working experience in non-profit institutions, research institutes or medium-large companies.
Organizational and social skills:
Proactivity in the management of daily activities and in the management of any critical issues;
Problem-solving orientation;
Analysis and synthesis skills;
Stakeholder orientation.
