Financial Operation Associate

Job Description This role will be responsible for the monthly closing, forecast and budget.
Supporting the Finance Manager in all day-to-day activities.
You will become a part of a European team, with international colleagues.
Main responsibilities: Perform and drive the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing for your area of responsibility• Details variances analysis: actual / forecast / prior month or year as per management request• KPIs verification and deterioration (productivity, margin, etc.
)• Reviews results with the business field managers and finance manager•Assists business field managers with day-to-day financial-related issues• Analyses loss-making jobs and prepare an action plan with responsible business field managers• Perform the monthly and ad hoc reporting Exemption Type Exempt (Salaried) Job Requirements Requirements: Knowledge of basic accounting topics, principles of finance, and standard business practices• Analytical, process-and business-driven approach• Knowledge of accounting software ( Microsoft AX would be a benefit, Oracle, etc)• Fluent in Italian and English, and good Excel skills• 3/4 years experience in controlling area, preferably gained in the freight forwarding business
