Duties: You will assist in the performance of functions such as: - Formulation of budget and estimates to support travel plans, programs, and activities. - Review travel requests and evaluate budget requests, control and reporting of travel obligations and expenditures. - Research guides to locate accounting, budgetary, and financial information in support of travel regulations and prepare summaries for use by higher-graded analysts. - Assist in the submission of travel pay documents using subsidiary systems. - Prepare preliminary travel budget estimates, financial reviews, etc. for a few relatively stable programs or program support activities. - Perform a variety of other fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities. - Write recommendations for corrective action in response to audit findings. You will be subject to and must be able to satisfy the overseas requirements. Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-5) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Conducting reviews of financial operations and experience in managing the Government Commercial Purchase Card Program (GCPC) and associated automated programs. - Gathering, analyzing, evaluating, interpreting information, formulating a recommended course of action, and preparing reports for management to use relating to financial operations. - Managing the Command Financial Management System (CFMS) and/or the Standard Accounting and Budget Reporting System (SABRS), Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) or similar financial management systems. Education: In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement.
