JOB DESCRIPTION Based in Milan and reporting to the Head of Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Sales in Italy, Israel, Greece, Cyprus, and Malta, the FIG Payments Sales Analyst position provides the candidate with an opportunity to obtain client-facing experience interacting with Product, Customer Service, Implementation, and other functions to deliver the best solution for JP Morgan Chase customers. As a FIG Sales Analyst, you will be part of a wider team of Sales Analysts in Europe and will interact, learn, and develop with them.
Job Responsibilities Assist the management of assigned client portfolios, and assist in selling mainly International Payments, Liquidity Solutions, and Trade Finance services to Financial Institutions and Public Sector Clients in Italy, Israel, Greece, Cyprus, and Malta. Act as a back-up in the relationship management of existing clients, quoting pricing, identifying opportunities, supporting the creation and implementation of new client solutions, assisting clients with their queries, and attending client meetings with the coverage team when required. Coordinate with the Proposal Services Group on complex multi-product proposals/Request For Proposals (RFPs)/Requests For Information (RFIs). Prepare and review marketing material (pitch books, presentations, and slip sheets) for Sales ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Closely follow up deal processes up to full implementation and assist in coordinating the pipeline on JPMC systems. Prepare periodic reports such as sales and revenue performance, account plans, reciprocal business flows, market share analysis, data, and analysis around syndicated loan participations for Treasury Services clients. Take ownership of the end-to-end deal management process, mastering the use of the implementation tools. Contribute to the preparation of presentations on JPMC Italian Strategy and the wider region. Work with product groups and sales to ensure that identified new product development initiatives are implemented. Assist the coverage team in timely completion/update of KYC/CDD records and internal presentations. Coordinate external industry forums, internal and external customer events to ensure market visibility of the Payments franchise in the market. Required Capabilities, Skills, and Experience A proven track record in a sales environment within a financial services organization, preferably in the field of Correspondent Banking. Knowledge of Cash Management, Liquidity, Trade Finance operations. Knowledge of Credit, Risk Management, and Compliance Policies in respect of Financial Institutions and Public Sector clients. Proven interpersonal, relationship management, and selling skills; ability to work with both internal partners and external clients. Ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines. An efficient and confident communicator with strong presentation skills. Adaptable; capable of assimilating to different environments and cultures. Process orientation/improvement/project management skills. Original and innovative thinking, creativity. Rigorous attention to detail and focus on execution. Fluent in English. Preferred Capabilities, Skills, and Experience Proven technical skills - financial modelling/analysis - expertise in Excel/PowerPoint will be a plus. Self-starter with high levels of energy and enthusiasm, resilience, and motivation. Can-do attitude and focus on delivery and execution. Must be prepared to travel if necessary to help build the TS franchise in the region. Organized and disciplined, ability to handle demands and priorities.
