In an important expansion phase of the Sic Campus Catania, we are looking for a senior financial controller (5-10 years experience) to join our team.
As a financial controller, you will assist the management and elaborate analysis of financial data to support informed decision-making within the organization.
This role involves ensuring data accuracy, contributing to financial reporting, and supporting compliance with regulatory standards, ultimately helping to enhance the overall financial performance of the company.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing and validating mainly data in the Capitalization Expenses (CAPEX) and subsequently Production Report (PROREP), including expense allocation.
Monitor and validate WIP of Capex execution and estimate month-end results.
Provide a clear reporting status and support to forecast it.
Support WIP control in compliance with SOX regulations.
Help calculate key financial parameters and assist in direct material value control.
Contribute to monthly GRANTs reporting and promote Sustainable Excellence and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or Management Engineering.
Great and proven ability to work with Excel dataset; knowledge of Power Query and Power BI modelization is a plus.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with financial reporting tools; SAP knowledge is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); French would be a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate different functions and managers will be a key requirement.
