Financial Consolidation Specialist

Purpose:The role has to support the Financial Reporting and Consolidation team and he/she will be responsible for a certain number of foreign subsidiaries.Main tasks and responsibilities:• Constant interface with foreign subsidiaries in order to coordinate and support them on accounting/finance/compliance topics;• Analysis and implementation of the new accounting standards and interpretations under IFRS in the Group's financial statements, including the preparation of proper instructions for the subsidiaries;• Analysis of specific transactions in order to define the proper accounting treatment;• Review and analysis of the quarterly reporting package, together with the subsidiaries financial controllers;• Drafting the consolidation accounting entries according to IAS/IFRS standards for quarterly and annual closing;• Collaborating on the quarterly and annual closing processes and on the preparation of the consolidated financial statement.Job Profile• Master Degree in Economics and Management, Finance;• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a multinational company and/or in a consulting firm.Skills, capabilities, competencies:• Knowledge of IAS/IFRS standards (Group Reporting expertise will be considered a plus);• Strong IT skills, particularly in relation to the use of Excel, PowerPoint and the SAP system;• Teamwork, problem solving, flexibility;• Excellent communication and negotiation skills;• Ability to travel nationally and internationally;• Fluent in English (other languages are appreciated).
