The Financial Analyst will join the Controllership Team based in Rome and will be part of the Team dedicated to supporting Payback Italy business in accounting, reporting, and statutory terms.
Main responsibilities:
- Monthly and quarterly close process, variance analysis and corrective action implementation
- Support the business on all accounting related activities
- Operating expense monitoring and corrective actions
- Preparation and review of various monthly / quarterly / annual deliverables to support both internal and external financial reporting needs
- Support the preparation of the Statutory Financials
- Present month-end and quarterly results to the Italian controller
- Support international projects working in conjunction with other market teams
- Support the onboarding of new partners from an accounting and statutory perspective
- Review, enhance and automate accounting processes
- Partner with Global Finance Organization to improve the quality of the financial processes
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Accounting background (USGaap and Italian Gaap)
- Fluent in Italian and in English
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
- Highly motivated with a teamwork approach
- Flexible and willing to challenge the status quo
- Knowledge of ERP systems
