The opportunity: You will be part of the international Finance team, working closely with your international colleagues in the Netherlands, UK, Denmark, Germany & France, and reporting directly to the Regional Manager Finance based in Italy. The position is a temp role for about 10-12 months.
The role includes reporting, tax and internal control activities in a very dynamic, international and professional environment!
Key Responsibilities Process AP invoices via our automated and AI-based ERP systemActive role in the monthly closing activities and Balance Sheet, P&L and subledgers reconciliations and analysis for your respective countriesResponsible for the annual account activities, including the support to the external auditors (KPMG NL and IT), resulting in the annual report documentExecute internal control activities and advise the Senior Financial Accountant on improvement opportunitiesResponsible for the tax and other tax compliance activities in cooperation with our external consultants (i.e. VAT, Intrastat, CIT)Support the Sr. Financial Accountant on Budget and Forecast activities and ad-hoc business analysisRealization of the personal and team goals, formulated at the beginning of the fiscal year We perfectly match if you: have +3 years of experience in an international accounting department.have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, but if you think that you have what it takes to get the job done, please don't hesitate to apply.have the ambition to work in an international accounting environment.enjoy being hands-on and improving processes.enjoy manipulating numbers and systems & work accurately. and you live within max 50km of our office in Venice.have a good command of Italian and English.are proficient in MS Office.are used to work with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion Cloud would be a plus).are well organized, multitasker and a self-starter with a ''can do'' attitude.
