Your day at NTT DATA The Financial Accountant is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for assisting with the preparation of more routine financial reports, processing journal entries and the accounting month-end, as well as preparing balance sheet reconciliations. The Financial Accountant collaborates with Senior Finance Manager and Controller to prepare monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
What you'll be doing The primary objective of this role is to report on costs, productivity, margins, and expenditures, as well as offer financial recommendations.
Your main responsibilities will be: Overseeing day-to-day financial activities within the organization. Reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies and collaborating across various finance and non-finance functions. Analyzing journals, producing data analysis and reports, and assisting with variance analysis. Planning month-end activities which includes the preparation and processing of month-end journal entries and executing a variety of actions in the accounting system. Implementing effective financial controls, including systems reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of reported figures. Supporting with the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and external parties. Establishing and enforcing strong financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations. Coordinating with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and compliance reviews. To be successful in this role you are asked to have: Master's degree in economics. Specialization in Finance Accounting or equivalent. Solid experience in a multinational environment preferred in ICT business. Relevant experience in a similar role and good knowledge of transfer pricing process. Proficient in budget and forecast preparation. Good knowledge of SAP is essential for this role. Fluent in English language (written and spoken). Strong attitude to work in a team. High capacity to organize priorities and meet deadlines. Good communication and relationship skills at different levels of the organization.
