DescriptionA Soft Count Team Member (TM) is responsible for the efficient count & drop (removal, exchange & collection of cash boxes found inside all slot machines) of currency in the Casino and the accurate accountability of such items.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESRemoves, exchanges and collects all VLT (slot machines) cash drop boxes, Sportsbook and ATM Kiosk drop boxes and cassettes.Assists Security Officers in transporting carts to and from secured areas.Counts, verifies and straps a high volume of currency.Performs tasks with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness ensuring the integrity of all transactions and counts.Operates and troubleshoots a variety of Soft Count equipment and technology performing maintenance as requested by management.Maintains confidentiality of all Casino operation data and currency transactions.Multitasks on a number of projects making efficient decisions in establishing priorities with some direction from management.Assists Team Leads on projects including inventory, supply orders, and equipment and drop box maintenance.Other duties as directed by management.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor.

Your commitment will help us meet our Purpose.EVERY DAY, WE DELIVER UNCOMMONLY KIND EXPERIENCES THAT CONNECT PEOPLE TO THE COAST.EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITYMinimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old.High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Strong organizational skills, and detail orientation required.May be required to have a valid driver's license and be insurable by TRCR's insurance agency.General understanding of computer programs, including all windows applications required.Cash handling and or clerical experience using cash registers or other business machinery preferred.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.
