The position reports to the CFO but day-to-day activities and deliverables will be managed by the Regional Manager.
This is a hands-on role that requires understanding of percent complete accounting and will need to partner with cross functional team members and represent the Finance function.Travel throughout Europe and to Orlando Headquarters will be required.ResponsibilitiesPrepare consolidated financial reporting of jobs operating in the regionPrepare and manage regional overhead and general and administrative budgetsPrepare cash forecastsAssist Project Manager and Project Coordinator with EAC reviews, cost reporting and billing and cost forecastingPartner with local tax, accounting, banking and payroll providers to ensure compliance, timely and accurate reporting and filings.Provide financial recommendations and assist with identifying risks and opportunities in job and indirect forecastsMonitor expendituresLeverage system and tools to create efficiencies and contribute to the ability to provide accurate and timely financial resultsEnsure accurate setup of financial systems in field officesEnsure financial compliance and maintain work instructions and process flows related to finance and accounting responsibilitiesLed efforts for European expansion in obtaining requirements and initial setup for doing business in other countries, including registrations, tax and banking requirements.QualificationsUS candidate with US Citizenship: Proficient in Italian, German or Polish desiredItalian candidate with European Union Citizenship: Proficient in EnglishBachelor's degree in Accounting and experience with percent complete and multi-currency accountingProficient in Microsoft ExcelA demonstrated commitment to customer serviceExperience in high-growth companies and comfort working on a fast-paced team with changing priorities including ability to handle multiple projects and produce timely, quality workIndependent/flexible problem-solver with the ability to adapt as the business growsStrong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to interact with various levels of management and build influential relationships with partners throughout the businessExperience with VAT reporting and requirementPay/BenefitsConti Federal offers great benefits.
