Summary of the Role The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial management and control functions, including Accounting, Reporting, and Treasury.
This role involves providing strategic financial guidance to senior management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing financial risks.
The Finance Manager leads and develops a team of financial experts, ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations.
Tasks and Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial professionals, ensuring accounting operations are conducted accurately, ethically, and in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Oversee the preparation of financial analyses, including cash flow forecasts, budgets, and risk management reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance for decision-making.
Supervise and ensure timely preparation of legal, regulatory, and internal financial reports, and ensure compliance with established guidelines and deadlines.
Provide expert financial advice on ongoing and new business activities, focusing on optimization from various financial perspectives.
Maintain a robust system of internal controls, accounting practices, and reporting processes to ensure regulatory and organizational compliance.
Collaborate with other departments, providing financial guidance and support to optimize business performance and mitigate risks.
Job and Personal Requirements Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance management, with proven expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and treasury operations.
Fluent English Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills are required.
Strong command of the English language (both written and verbal).
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform well under pressure while adhering to deadlines.
