Duties & Responsibilities
Job's Purpose:
Oversee accounting, finance, and administrative processes, providing accurate insights for management decision-making. Ensure adherence to legal, tax, and reporting obligations within the country and company standards. Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Qualifications: CA qualification advantageous; Honours Degree (BCom Accounting) and MBA preferred. Work Experience: Minimum 6 years, ideally within a manufacturing environment . Skills: Proficiency in finance, accounting, budgeting, IFRS, SAP-B1, automated financial systems, advanced MS Excel, and exceptional communication. Key Responsibilities:
Business Controlling:
Produce timely financial reports, monthly reports, strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts. Analyse financial key figures and provide operational management with insightful support. Accounting:
Manage all Accounting functions: Costing (non-negotiable) , General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, etc. Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, and ensure IFRS compliance. Cash Management:
Optimize working capital needs and oversee credit control to minimize bad debts. Manage cash flow, treasury, and tax requirements in line with Group standards. Compliance:
Ensure adherence to financial legislation, standards, and statutory obligations. Maintain Corporate Governance aligned with Group standards, liaising with external entities as needed. Internal Control:
Implement internal control systems safeguarding company assets. Oversee effective internal controls, meeting the Internal Control Reference Framework (ICRF) requirements. How to Apply:
