Finance Director ( Merano )

A great opportunity to join as a Finance Director at a Luxury 5 star hotel in Merano, Italy.
Responsibility: Supervises administrative accounting employees in a full range of functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Receivable/Collections, Purchasing, Audit, Payroll and/or Accounting Operations.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent and 5-10 years of experience in accounting or auditing in the hotel industry, with at least 1-7 years in a Finance Director or similar role in Italy, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Knowledge of accounting management duties such as negotiating hotel space and lease agreements with tenants; payroll processing; resource management; providing business projections, displacement analysis, preparation of government reports, tax returns, etc., as required.
A professional designation or certification in accounting or finance is preferred.
Technical Skills and Knowledge: Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Ability to collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, including a good understanding of financial valuation methodology.
Advanced ability to use Microsoft applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint.
