Finance Controller Specialist

The controller will be responsible among the Finance Entertainment area for all the activities related to the cost controlling milestones (Budget Forecasting, Long Range Plan, variance analysis), other than transformation projects related to the area.
In carrying out his activities, the candidate will have to interface with Senior Directors at local and Group level for ad-hoc analysis, as well as with other Finance and FPA teams.
Main activities Management of acquisitions of rights for Sky Branded Channels (scripted and unscripted productions) Management of database updates to promptly reflect the developments of negotiations with the main local and international distribution players Monitoring of the budget assigned to the business with approval of the TV rights acquisition contracts Management of month-end closings, monitoring of channel actuals and KPIs and variance analysis Production of ad-hoc analysis relating to the costs and performance of the area Support to the local and Group editorial team in the evaluation of new negotiations Main requirements: Structured approach to work with excellent analytical and synthesis skills Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in team Excellent knowledge of the Office package (Excel and PPT) #J-18808-Ljbffr
