Job Purpose
Being part of the Business Controlling team in Ravenna (Italy), the employee will be a key member of the finance team and support EMENA finance team as well, ensuring the accuracy of all our financial data.
**Responsibilities**:
P&L and Balance sheet analysis and ownership with fully supportable reconciliations and group reporting to BPC which includes identifying risks and opportunities, improving processes and control;
Management of ledgers in IFRS (monthly) and Italian GAAP (yearly);
Cash flow Statement;
Delivering weekly and monthly reporting for all departments, ensuring they are delivered on a timely basis.
The report should include variance analysis to understand movements, identify trends, etc.

Supporting the Head of Finance on all tax, credit risk, sales, working capital, and other ad-hoc tasks as well as both internal and external audit matters
Supporting the Head of Finance with annual budgets with the local management team and international head office.
This will include an appropriate level of challenge and stress testing.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (master's degree or CPA preferred);
Working experience of 2-4 years in Audit.
Finance controlling experience would be ideal;
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP or IFRS);
An affinity with numbers, an eye for detail, and the ability to interpret data.
Meticulous and precise with figures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel (knowledge of SAP and BPC are a plus);
Proficiency in English is a must.
