You will partner with our Finance Controller. You will work closely together and coordinate tasks, taking stock of the current business as usual activities and ways of working, identify and implementing improvements and automation. You report to the Managing Director with a dotted line to our French Finance Director.
Your Responsibilities
- ** Financial Business Partner**: You effortlessly connect with the business and regularly spar with stakeholders to improve processes and streamline actionable communication.
- ** Analysis of Deviations in Accounting and Processes**: You are an excel wizard and through financial and data analyses can easily identify and explain deviations. Calculating, analyzing, and presenting results and anomalies is your forte.
- ** Involvement in Month End Close**: You play an important role in ensuring the monthly business as usual processes leading up to the month end close are improved ensuring reliable, timely submission of figures. You identify, design implement and where possible, document improvement proposals as you take stock of the team's processes and systems. You support the Financial Controller and the finance team in getting their jobs done with reduced manual intervention.
- ** Collaboration and Informing the Management Team**: You have a direct line with our Managing Director, but also with our Finance Director in France. You inform them in a timely manner about progress and engage in discussions with them and alongside.

**About you**:
- Your Profile_
- Minimum certified accountant or a Masters degree in Financial Management or related beta.
- At least 5 years of work experience in a similar position.
- You are action orientated, process driven and a self-starter
- Demonstrated Knowledge of the following accounting package is preferable: Dynamics 365
- Affinity with data, PowerBi
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Excel
- You thrive in a dynamic environment but are both personable and empathetic
- You are independent, accurate, analytically strong
- Problem-solving is what you enjoy
- A good command of Italian and English, both spoken and written is a requirement
