Partner with the best As Field Service Tooling Specialist, you will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency of the FSE tooling management and supporting the development of new tools for site activities across various technologies.
This role will collaborate closely with the FSEs, Engineering team, suppliers, and other technical stakeholders for developing a solid tooling network within GTS.
As Field Service Tooling Specialist you will be responsible for: Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the FSE tooling management processes, ensuring tools are readily available and in optimal working condition.Establishing and consolidating a robust quantitative and qualitative control process for all tools, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and operational standards.Partnering with FSEs, Engineering, product experts, product leadership, and external suppliers to develop new tools for site activities covering all technologies within the IET portfolio, including (but not limited to) Heavy Duty Gas Turbines, Aero GT, Centrifugal & Reciprocating Compressors, and Steam Turbines.Providing technical guidance and assistance to regional teams in developing the capability of the local tooling Hubs.
Consolidating tools management processes and maintenance operations.To be successful in this role you will: Have a Technical diploma in mechanical engineering with at least 4 years of experience in Field Services.Possess strong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Be able to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
