The role of Senior Field Service Technician is a unique one. Our Technicians dedicate their time to servicing our customers 24/7, including assembly, maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and support with new projects. Without Field Service, we would not be the business we are today. We have created a new role to be part of our Italian Field Service team and would like someone who is based in Parma. Excitingly, there will also be travel international with this super role.
You will work with our engineering team and broader customer care team across Europe, caring for our customers across all of our machinery.
The Opportunity ... On a Given Day, You May:Provide site support with maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and support with new projects.Manage installations, providing service and visit reports, and technical support for all our machinery within your responsibilities, including advising our customers on maintenance, spare parts, and upgrades; identify any trends and share this with your manager.Train customers on maintenance, operation, safety, and the cleaning of the machinery.Work with our aftermarket team to implement aftermarket activities such as services, promotion, and CRM.Identify sales opportunities and pass this information onto our Sales Manager swiftly.Requirements for the Role5 years' experience in machine servicing within food processing plants (we will consider candidates with less than this).Mechanical, electrical, or controls engineering expertise.PLC knowledge of Beckhoff, Siemens, Allen Bradley are a huge plus.BTS maintenance industrielle.Knowledge of Salesforce and Office.Someone who enjoys sharing best practices with a team.Someone who cares that the customer gets great service.Excellent Italian and English language skills (Fluent Italian is a must).Travel & LocationWe need flexibility to travel and for you to work flexible hours – this is super important so we can care for our customers.We are committed to our employees and will provide you with development and opportunities to allow you to be the best version of yourself at work, at home, and in your community.
