Field Service Engineer - Mechanical

Contract TypePermanentCountryITALYLocationParmaYour OpportunitySidel is looking for a Field Service Engineer (FSE) specialized in Mechanics.
The main focus includes:Perform installation, start-up, commissioning, and testing of Sidel equipment supplied to customer sites;Provide technical assistance during and after the warranty period, including training and other after-sales services for Sidel's equipment installed at customer sites;Develop a good understanding of customer needs to provide objective advice and ensure customer satisfaction.Your MissionTest and evaluate equipment performance at customer plants based on technical, contractual, and safety specifications;Operate on mechanical systems and HMI for regular activities and troubleshooting as per Standard Operating Procedures;Execute basic electrical work (e.g., cable wiring);Properly handle, check, and transfer equipment non-conformities;Prepare Job Progress Chart and technical reports regarding carried-out activities;Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction;Perform activities in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel coordination plan rules, and customer rules;Report after-sales opportunities detected on customer sites;Coach junior colleagues on on-site behavior, technical activities, troubleshooting, and reporting deliverables;Report to the ISM for team site activities.Your ProfileEducation Qualifications and Language RequirementsTechnical professional qualification or Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a plus;Fluent in English, written and spoken;Other foreign languages as per regional allocation are a plus.Professional Qualifications and ExperienceAt least 5 years of experience in field activities;Experience in the beverage industry;Consolidated technical background in Mechanics;Knowledge of Sidel Portfolio is a plus;Aseptic knowledge is a plus;Availability to travel (up to 90% in Italy and internationally, mainly in Europe).Key Leadership BehaviorsManaging and measuring work;Process management;Problem solving;Action-oriented;Peer relationships.
