We have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer I to be part of our TecPro Early Career Program and join our Industrial Automation Business unit team in Milan or Padova.
Job Purpose: · You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development.
· Un derstand customer needs and solve technical issues by relying on the Honeywell support network to provide excellent customer service respecting and representing Honeywell's high-quality services, ethics, and values.
· Support System's Migration and Upgrades.
· Maintain high-level knowledge of Honeywell systems hardware and software platforms.
· Support other engineers in troubleshooting and report progress of each service project/activities and issues to the Field Service Manager Field Service Engineer I responsibilities · DCS maintenance, Software and Hardware troubleshooting · Installation of the control system's software and hardware Upgrades and Migrations · Technical Support for Customers · System diagnosis: Diagnosis and escalation for rectification of issues in application software · May require carrying out site work and international assignments from time to time, · Ability to change system's hardware parts, install control system's software including updates and patches.
Qualifications · Bachelor's degree/in Electrical, Automation or IT Engineering (Recent Graduate) Required skills · Networking knowledge and experience.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Server and Windows OS configuration · Cyber Security Awareness (McAfee, Symantec) · Good knowledge and experience in the hardware assembly process · Knowledge of ISO requirements · Ability to travel 50-60% of the time since the activities are perform on our client´s site Behavioural Competencies Required: · Use open two-way communication style both internally and externally with Honeywell customers.
